The sins are something very traditional for religions, they exist since many years ago and are a model which the believers live with. But now, The vaticain, specially bishop Gianfranco Girotti has created newones, the seven new deadly sins, because of the things that are occuring nowdays "the age of globalisation". Eniromental contamination, being obscenely rich, genetic manipulation, droug traffic and consume and abortion are some of them. The society should take in account those "sins" and make them part of the life because more than sins are social and moral values.
To begin, the new deadly sins are just a creation of one person, something that somebody said were a fact that God would take in account to carry us to his kingdom. ¿is it true? ¿aren´t them just values that we should have to be better persons and to subsist in the world?.
Genetic manipulation may cure some illnesses or mprove the bad things that the human race have, abortion may prevent the dead of the mother, to be extremely rich does not cause poverty, poverty is caused by bad goverments and discrimination, people should help the others that need help but giving their fortune are not going to solve anything, those are the reasons which support the idea that we shouldn´t believe everything that says the vaticain, we should analize and give our own opinions.
On the other hand, yhe vaticano says that all the new deadly sins are necesary because the sins that already exist are not enough for all the problems that exist in the actuality. “new sins which have appeared on the horizon of humanity as a corollary of the unstoppable process of globalisation”. To conclude, i believe that the vaticain should support those values and promote them without becoming them into new sins because it starts to lose credibility.
